The goal is to drink and taste our way through 2001 unique bottles of wine - all the time keeping track of the wines, the locations where we sipped, the friends we shared the bottles with and the good times that were had. We can only guess how many bottles are behind us and aren't included here, but it's better to start late than never at all.

Island Ortega
1672. 2011 Starling Lane Ortega (Vancouver Island)
I don't see many Vancouver Island wines here in the Vancouver - let alone Ortega varietal wines. Too bad. This one hit all the right notes with tree fruit and acidity.
